Hi Sam, sorry we have to meet this way. My cancer was also muscle invasive and I had my bladder removed last year. As Greg said, the surgery is very complicated and recovery takes a while, but once you are through all that, you can go back to living a normal life with some adjustments. Sandra made a good point about understanding your options for urinary diversions. We, on this site have them all, so we can help you with understanding what living with each type of diversion is really like. I hope you get good news from the bone scan. Keep us posted.
