Sorry to meet you here on this site. If in fact the doctor decides on a radical cystectomy you can live a very active and quite normal life afterwards. I had my RC 22 months ago and am healthy and active now. The surgery is serious and complex so you want to ensure your surgeon does a lot of these often and is associated with a major cancer centre, as Sandra has said. Get a copy of your paathology report from your urologist so that you know exactly what you are dealing with. Here’s hoping for a clear bone scan result. All the best. Keep us posted.
