I will never forget where I was. I was with my wife on an Island celebrating our anniversary. It pretty much put a damper on it. We were stranded on an Island for 3 days. Which was fine with me, we were visiting our son, he treated us to the vacation. But as a SAR technician i have come to know a lot more than was ever publicized and it was so much worse than people think. So much was suppressed. Which actually might be a good thing. It was more tragic than most people know. God Bless America. And God bless our Canadian friends. Thank you Canada for always standing by us and for grieving with us.
